Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to every quote, order and purchase of products from Lumina Biolabs ("Lumina", "we", "us"), and to your use of lumina-biolabsusa.com (the "Site"). By entering the Site, requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase our products.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old to use the Site or purchase products. By ordering, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, laboratory or business that is qualified to handle research chemicals, and that you have the training and facilities to handle them safely.
2. Research use only
Products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research and scientific study only. You agree that you will not, and will not allow anyone else to:
- use any product on or in humans or animals, including by injection, ingestion, inhalation or topical application;
- use any product as a drug, medicine, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic or household product;
- resell, relabel or repackage any product for human or veterinary use, or market it with health or medical claims.
Product formats, including pre-filled pens, describe how the material is packaged only. They are not an instruction or invitation to self-administer.
3. No medical advice
Information on the Site, on labels, in product sheets, by email or on social media summarizes published research for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and must not be read as a claim that any product is safe or effective for any use in people or animals. Lumina does not provide dosing, preparation, administration or injection guidance.
4. Buyer responsibility and compliance
You are solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, use and disposal of products, and for complying with all federal, state and local laws and regulations that apply to you, including any laws on the purchase, possession or import of research chemicals in your location.
5. Refusal of sale
We may refuse or cancel any quote or order at our discretion, including where we believe a product may be used for human or veterinary purposes, or where a buyer makes statements suggesting personal use.
6. Quotes, payment and shipping
Prices are provided by quote and are not listed on the Site. A quote is valid only for the period stated in it. Risk of loss passes to you when the order is handed to the carrier. You are responsible for any customs duties or import requirements outside the United States.
7. Quality and documentation
Products are manufactured in the USA. A certificate of analysis (COA) for the current batch is available on request. Products are provided for research purposes "as is", and we make no other warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Returns
Because of the nature of research materials, opened products cannot be returned. If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@lumina-biolabs.com and we will review it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumina is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury, illness or loss arising from the misuse of any product or use contrary to these Terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lumina, its owners, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use, handling, resale or misuse of any product, or from your breach of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on the Site on the date of your order applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Lumina Biolabs is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If the English and Hebrew versions differ, the English version controls.
